The cigar is named after the prestigious Belgrave Square, which is home to a statue of Simón Bolívar, the historical figure the brand is named after. This particular edition was created to celebrate the 225th anniversary of Hunters & Frankau (H&F), the UK's Cuban Cigar Distributor. The event took place on 19th June of that year.

The Belgravia cigar features a Montesco vitola, which means it shares the same size as the widely popular Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill.
